Product Description

Alloy tool steel with high hardenability, high resistance to tempering, load and high hardness at elevated temperatures. The grade is distinguished by high content of Cobalt in its chemical composition. Steel is used for high speed tools for automatic forging and upset forging of bolts, nuts, bolt heads and rivets. The material is used to manufacture die inserts, press and forge stamps, as well as tools for forging rolling bearing rings.

1.2885 - RPCo steel corresponds to the steel RP with additional Co content. The high-temperature strength, tempering resistance and also high temperature wear resistance are increased.
