45NiCrMo16/ 1.2767 /AISI 6F7 Tool Steel Round Bar
1.2767 X45NiCrMo4 is a higher carbon version of the standard 4¼% nickel air/oil hardening steel. 1.2767 X45NiCrMo4 achieves a good hardness and is suitable for applications demanding extra wear resistance.
1.2767 is Nickel cold work tool steel. Good hardenability and thougness. Ability for polishing, photoetching and erosion treatment. Application include forging tools, dies of all sort, shapes and sizes, hot forging and pressing tools for steel and metal. Moulds, bushings, piercers, etc.

Hardened & Tempered Austenitize 850 to 865 (1560 to 1590) Forced air cool or oil quench. Temper at 200 (400), air cool.
7: Delivery condition
For hot forged rolled bar, usually the delivery condition is hot forged or rolled, annealed/QT, rough turned/Black surface.
